The Oromo people are the largest ethnic group in Ethiopia; they have a strong and distinctive culture and long history.

Their territory is known as 'Oromiya'.

The Oromo Relief Association (ORA) was set up to help Oromo victims of war and famine. ORA UK is its British branch and is a registered charity (number 284602).
