In 2009  ORA UK       

- helped send two containers of relief items and food  to Oromo refugees in Eritrea .

 - contributed  £1,980 to ORA  Headquarters’ activities in Eritrea.

- sent £700 for food aid to refugees in Khartoum and Awadasid camp,Sudan.

 - sent £1,000 to help establish an Oromo office in Kenya.

-  protested against the ill-treatment of Oromo refugees in Yemen and the deportation to Ethiopia of refugees in Kenya.

-  secured leave to remain for 15 Oromo refugees in Malta.
