November 22 2006: a container of goods for Oromo
refugees in Eritrea left the port of Felixstowe for
Massawa. It contained first aid equipment, food,
clothing, toys, educational goods such as typewriters
and writing materials and self-help equipment like
sewing machines. The goods were donated by the
Christian African Relief Trust, and ORA UK paid for
the transport.
In 2005
ORA
Set up a new Central Office in Asmara, Eritrea. It
works on coordinating and building up the activities
of ORA there and in Sudan, Somalia, Djibouti, Kenya,
Germany, UK, USA and Canada.
ORA UK
Sent four containers of relief items - food and
medical and educational supplies - to the refugees in
Eritrea. We did this in collaboration with the
Christian African Relief Trust.
Sent £3,000.to ORA in Sudan for maintenance and
relief work with Oromo refugees at Awadasid camp and
in Khartoum.
